What kind of PCs do you accept?
We accept desktops and gaming PCs of all brands and ages. Laptops, peripherals, and consoles are not accepted at this time.
How is the trade-in value determined?
The estimate is based on your PC's age, specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage), and physical condition. We may adjust the final value after inspecting the system in person.
Can I trade in a PC I didn't buy from The PC Lad?
Absolutely. We accept trade-ins regardless of where the PC was originally purchased.
Do I have to buy a new build to trade in?
Yes, the trade-in program is designed to offset the cost of a new custom build. The credit is applied directly to your new order.
What happens to my old PC?
Depending on condition, we'll refurbish and resell it, use it for parts, or recycle it responsibly. Nothing goes to waste.
Is the estimate guaranteed?
The online estimate is indicative. The final trade-in value is confirmed after we inspect the PC in person. We'll always confirm the final amount before you commit.
