These terms govern your use of thepclad.com and any orders you place with The PC Lad. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We keep things straightforward — please read through them so you know what to expect.
Every PC we build is custom. That means each system is assembled to order based on the specifications agreed upon between you and us. Due to the nature of the hardware market, specific component models or brands may occasionally vary from what was originally quoted. If this happens, we will always substitute with an equivalent or better component and let you know before proceeding.
All specifications discussed during the quoting process are indicative. Final specifications will be confirmed before payment is taken.
Payment is required in full before we begin building your PC. We accept payment through the methods listed on our website. All prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT where applicable.
Quotes provided are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated, as component prices can fluctuate. Once payment is received, your build enters our queue and we will keep you updated on progress.
Most custom builds are completed within 7 to 14 business days from the date payment is received. This includes sourcing components, assembly, cable management, testing, and quality checks.
In some cases, timelines may be longer due to component availability or high demand. If your build is going to take longer than expected, we will let you know as soon as possible and keep you in the loop.
Builds can be collected in person from our location in Dublin or delivered to an address within Ireland. Delivery costs, if applicable, will be confirmed at the time of your quote. Risk of damage passes to you upon collection or delivery.
We take great care with every build, but our liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or downtime resulting from any issue with your PC.
We are not responsible for any damage that occurs after delivery or collection due to misuse, accidental damage, or modifications made by third parties.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. This includes situations where a requested build is not feasible, where there is abusive or unreasonable behaviour, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order, any payment received will be refunded in full.
