OVERVIEW
The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB White is the cooler that rewrote the budget cooling rulebook in 2024 and still holds the title in 2026. Dual-tower aluminium heatsink, six heatpipes drawing heat away from the contact plate, and two 120mm TL-C12CW-S ARGB PWM fans pushing air through both stacks.
Real-world thermals trade blows with 240mm AIOs costing four times the price — keeps a Ryzen 7 5700X / 5800X3D under 75°C in extended gaming loads with the fans audible only at full tilt. Universal mount for AMD AM4 / AM5 + Intel LGA1700 / 1200 / 1151. The white finish and ARGB fans make it a natural fit for white-themed builds. We fit this as the default cooler on €1,000-€1,500 AM4 / AM5 builds where the customer doesn't want the extra spend (or risk) of a liquid cooler.
